Article II. Purpose and Structure

Section 1. These bylaws, consistent with the requirements of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, are established to assure meaningful involvement of faculty in institutional decision-making, especially regarding academic affairs. The Faculty’s role as participants is defined through these Faculty Bylaws.

Section 2. The faculty shall consist of two bodies: The Faculty Assembly and its representative body, the Faculty Senate.
