Identification Cards
Identification Cards
Faculty, staff and students should carry a Piedmont College identification card on campus. Cards are provided free at the Demorest Campus Police office in GB Hall and the Athens Student Services Office in Ellard Hall.
Each student is issued a student identification (ID) card that provides access to a variety of campus and community services, including the library, sports and recreational activities, health services, dining services, fitness center, and student activities. A valid state issued ID card or passport is required in order to receive a Student ID Card.
Students are required to carry their ID cards at all times as College staff may request to see an ID card at any time. Surrender of the ID card may be required in student disciplinary matters. ID cards are issued at the beginning of the student's first semester of enrollment during orientation/ registration activities. It is the student's responsibility to obtain an ID card during the first two weeks of classes. ID cards contain a picture, name, and bar code. With the exception of a change of name, a student will use the card for the entire period of enrollment at Piedmont College.
A charge of $25 will be imposed to replace a lost or stolen ID card. If an ID card is damaged or a change of information is required, a replacement will be provided at no cost.
