Student Rights and Responsibilities
Piedmont College shall annually create and publish, electronically or otherwise, a student handbook. The handbook shall incorporate, either directly or by reference, all appropriate information regarding student life at the college. It shall also contain information necessary to meet state and federal regulatory requirements for informing students of their rights as well as their responsibilities, including but not limited to, privacy of student records, campus security and safety, freedom from discrimination, and tuition refunds. The student handbook shall be published annually by the Student Affairs Division of the college.
The institution shall also publish annually current academic calendars, grading policies, and refund policies. These documents and policies shall be included in both the student handbook and the college catalog, electronically or otherwise, in order to ensure availability to both students and the public.
