Reporting Procedures

Reporting Criminal Offenses:

In order to prevent any criminal activity within our jurisdiction, it is vital to have cooperation and assistance from others with that in mind, we ask that any suspicious activity or persons seen in the parking lots or loitering around vehicles, inside buildings or around Residential Halls should be reported to the Campus Police Dept. Contact the Piedmont University Campus Police or dial 911.

Limited Voluntary Confidential Reporting:

Piedmont University Campus Police encourages anyone who is the victim or witness to any crime to promptly report the incident to Campus Police. Because police reports are public records under state law, the Piedmont Police Department cannot hold reports of crime in confidence. Confidential reports for the purposes of inclusion in the annual disclosure of crime statistics can generally be made to other Piedmont Campus Security Authorities, as identified below.
