EDD 9904 Dissertation Applied Research II

This course is designed to support the doctoral student during the writing of the dissertation proposal. The Piedmont Dissertation Proposal Template will be distributed and reviewed. During this course, students may orally defend their proposal and submit the IRB requirement associated with their research.

  1. Propose a line of research about a problem of practice related to the candidate’s area of certification. 
  2. Use appropriate methodology, as aligned to potential research questions, to develop and defend a dissertation proposal. 
  3. Demonstrate consistent writing practices.
