Exceptional Child Education Curriculum

Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Exceptional Child Education

Piedmont's Bachelor of Arts special education program provides specialized training in instructional methods, behavior management, assessment, and legal policies for students with disabilities. After completing this program, students receive certification in PK - 12 general curriculum special education; therefore, completion of this program provides students with the opportunity of teaching students with disabilities at any age level in public schools. Students in this program develop expertise through a combination of coursework and field-based clinical experiences. .

The Bachelor of Arts Degree in Exceptional Child Education requires a minimum of 120 credit hours as follows:
