SOSC 3000 Social Policy and Program Development

This course is designed to explore the intersection of social welfare systems, policy formulation, and program implementation. Through a multidisciplinary approach, students will examine the historical, ideological, and ethical foundations of social policy, as well as the practical strategies for developing, implementing, and evaluating social programs. Special emphasis will be placed on understanding the impact of social policy on diverse populations, including communities of color and other and marginalized social groups.
