GEOL 1101 Physical Geology

Fundamentals of physical geology: characteristics and origins of rocks and minerals; mechanisms and processes of volcanism, plutonism, metamorphism, weathering, erosion, sedimentation, and lithification; evolution of landforms; continental drift, sea-floor spreading, plate tectonics, and the internal structure of the Earth.
