Intercollegiate Athletics

Piedmont University provides intercollegiate athletic opportunities at the Demorest Campus. These programs are designed to promote student interest in athletics, to foster sound physical development, and to teach good sportsmanship. http://www.piedmontlions.com/

Intercollegiate sports include men’s and women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer, baseball, softball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's cross country, men’s and women’s track and field, men’s and women’s golf, men's and women's swimming, and men’s and women’s lacrosse. The University also sponsors cycling and cheerleading as a club activity. Piedmont University is a member of NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Division III and competes in the Collegiate Conference of the South. Men's and women's lacrosse and women's gold are also members of the USA South.
