Voluntary Withdrawal from University
Students who wish to voluntarily withdraw from the University (withdraw from ALL classes) must complete a withdrawal form, available from the registrar’s office. The appropriate form must be signed and filed with the registrar’s office before refunds (if applicable) can be made or transcripts forwarded. Withdrawal from the University can have financial aid and student account implications. Students are encouraged to contact these offices to discuss withdrawal implications prior to submitting a withdrawal form.
Students who withdraw from all courses prior to or on the date noted in the University’s official academic calendar as the “last day to withdraw without receiving academic penalty” shall receive a “W” for each course and the hours will not be counted in the calculation of GPA. Students who withdraw from all courses after the last day to withdraw from a course without academic penalty shall receive a “W” or “WF” in each course, based on the grade at time of withdrawal.
