Upon the completion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate the following outcome-based learning skills:
Prepared for majoring in biology in the basic background of microorganims.
Develop an understanding of microorganisms, with specific emphasis on classification, ecology, and genetics.
Effectively employ critical thinking skills in written and oral communication involving general concepts and principles of the microbiological disciplines.
Demonstrate basic skills applicable to handling, cultivation, and biochemical identification of bacterial cultures.
