Drama Education, B.A.

The Bachelor of Arts in Drama Education provides courses leading to certification in Drama at the P-12 level. Courses and program requirements include classroom instruction as well as hands-on learning in theater production and theory, academic preparation in theatre, and experiential learning opportunities in pedagogy. Students must gain admittance into the Piedmont University College of Education, pass appropriate GACE exams, attain pre-service certification, and complete the program of study for a BA in Drama Education to be recommended for certification.

In order to successfully complete this program, students must be admitted to the Teacher Education program and adhere to all of the requirements. (Course descriptions)
