NRSC 4300 Brain and Behavior

The biological bases of human and nonhuman behavior. This course takes a functional approach to understanding the physiological mechanism underlying behavior. This course begins with an overview of basic neuroanatomy, neurophysiology,
and development. Then the course builds on this foundation by discussing the role of the brain in perception, movement, sleep, stress, motivation, emotion, cognition, social behavior, and mental health.
