SPED 7745 Advanced Internship II
Each internship is conducted in a semester-long format with periodic seminars. This experience, based in a public school, emphasizes the application and integration of developmental and instructional principles in a collaborative setting. Students will be jointly supervised by University faculty and the employing school. This is a Pass or Fail course.
For students enrolled in each of the internship courses the following must occur:
- Be teaching on a non-renewable certificate in Special Education General Curriculum at a school within 50 miles of the Athens campus, unless otherwise approved by the Dean of the College of Education.
- Have a completed application for an internship approved prior to registration for SPED 7744
- Have completed an unconditional acceptance to Teacher Education and hold a pre- service certificate prior to enrollment in SPED 7744.
