EDSE 7742-7743 Internship Teaching Sequence (Secondary)
A 240-contact-hour internship for one semester within two grade bands consisting of grades 6-8 and 9-12 in the specific field of study. The teacher candidate will complete the internship under the combined supervision of a certified teacher and the college supervisor. Evidence of multicultural approaches to pedagogy, history, and student/teacher associations will be evident as the teacher candidates complete their internships in diverse settings. Applications must be completed by the posted deadline the semester prior to placement.
