EDEC 7740 Internship I
Field-based experience under the supervision of one or more host teachers and a college faculty member. Candidates observe, plan and teach lessons, conduct assessments, and work with both whole-class and small groups at PK-K, 1-3, and 4-5 grade levels. For graduate students whose prior teaching experience or student teaching internship has been at another level or in a different field and who need clinical experience in order to increase confidence or add a new teaching field in order to add Early Childhood Education to their current certification. This is a Pass or Fail course.
