BIOL 3750 Biotechnology

Investigation of concepts surrounding biotechnology in today's world including applications to the medical, pharmaceutical, and agricultural industries. Emphasis is placed on recombinant DNA technology including vector types and structure, properties of restriction enzymes, and genetic engineering.
