Special Education Adapted Curriculum (BA)

This undergraduate degree program prepares teacher candidates to serve students with significant cognitive disabilities through adapted curriculum instruction. The program includes comprehensive coursework in functional literacy, life skills, behavior intervention, and assistive technology, along with extensive field experiences and internships. Aligned with the Georgia Professional Standards Commission requirements for initial certification in SPED Adapted Curriculum (P-12), the program equips future educators with the knowledge and skills to support students with moderate to severe disabilities in specialized and inclusive settings.
